Uninstalling

WHOS-IN is slightly different to most applications, in that there is no SETUP file, and no registry entries. This allows you to simply DELETE the WHOS-IN folder from your server, and it's GONE for good.

SERVER UNINSTALL:
1. Run the ADMIN.EXE program (from the server WHOSIN folder) and choose the FILE / DATABASE PATH menu item to determine the location of the database.

2. DELETE the WHOSIN.MDB file using Windows Explorer.

3. DELETE the WHOS-IN folder from the SERVER.

4 Remove the entry from your users Network Login Script (if enabled).
Examples:
START \\Server\Share\Path\USER.EXE Greg Hudson
or
START \\Server\Share\Path\USER.EXE %FULLNAME%
(This will vary depending on the type of Network you run)

WORKSTATION UNINSTALL:
1. DELETE any WHOS-IN Icons from the desktop, and optionally from the users StartUp folder.

NOTE: Because there is no workstation 'Setup' program, there is no need for a workstation uninstaller.
